History Relearned?

If you banned my book, I would publish it online! – Kua Kia Soong (These are the words that serves great impact! Kudos to you dude! )

Those who receive tertiary education Malaysia are definitely familiar with the term “Darurat “ (State Of Emergency). Quoted; A State Of Emergency is a governmental declaration that may suspend certain normal functions of government, may work to alert citizens to alter their normal behaviors, or may order government agencies to implement emergency preparedness plans. It can also be used as a rationale for suspending civil liberties. Such declarations usually come during a time of natural disaster, during periods of civil unrest, or following a declaration of war (therefore, in democratic countries many call this martial law, most with non-critical intent.

Histories of Malaysia record a few incidents of “Darurat” In one particular incident, which is briefly mentioned in history textbook of school under a single paragraph “insiden gelap May13, 1969”. I believe many new generations of student have no exact idea what actually happen then due to cover-up and secrecy of publication. So here’s a good book to those who loves history~
