Bukit Jugra reminiscence

I Curik this pic! the real one is soo good that there nothing left before I could take pics!

Ooof.. what a tiring day! Today I went to Bukit Jugra for lunch with a bunch of oldies. It been over 15yrs since I last went there for food!!. The journey there took about an hour drive or so from Klang. Boy~ how the road system and scenery have changed! The river that overlook the restaurant have now become kecikus drain *I remember there used to be hundreds of mud skipper and now it gone!!, eeh wait could it be low tide?? *You need to book the restaurant 3 days in advance before coming.

This restaurant is famous for their “Beggar’s Chicken” a traditional delicacy spiced with herb then wrapped with papers and finally covered with yellow clay. It is then baked within piles of fiery charcoal ember and ashes for overnight to develop a flavourful, earthy taste. Talk about being authentic~ The cooking area used to be a huge clay igloo *previously it’s a charcoal factory* used to dry swamp wood for charcoal but now been replaced with a brick house specially to cook the beggar’s chicken. Though the charcoal factory is no longer there but the restaurant continues to serves this traditional delicacy to enthusiastic clientele.

Tonight is not too bad night either.. attended an old friend wedding.. congrats Jen Sern! Seated down among old childhood friends with their wives and kids.. really reminded me that I’m old, sad, lonely and SINGLE!! Haiz… more booze please!

Transformer

Last night I was invited by my friend for the launching of “Transformer” movie at Cineleisure Damansara. A very good childhood sci-fi fantasy movie I'll say.. though the sequence of the Autobot and Decepticon transforming to mecha was somewhat too fast for the eye to catch. Needs to wait for DVD release for a slow playback :D

My Tako experience

Look! new species I dug out from the stomach of the Tako!!
it have back of a Buaya and curl up like Hedgehog.

Trying new recipe today * ada mood masak * with Octopus, because recently I bought 2kgs of octopus for test trial from Ray. This is a South China Sea variety from Endau.Quite a lot of work needed to be done while you know~ cleaning these octopus… you need to gut em *these octopus have shit for brain! Haha!?! * , removed the ink sac *careful not to break the sac!! >.0! * ,cut the eyes and the beak.
Octopussy~ Tako
Then you need to boiled them for a few mins, Cut a few slices for boiling experiment.
Discovered that if boiled too long and you have a‘chewing gum of the east’ texture. Strained the octopus well and begin deskinning *the outer layer of reddish skin is way too disgusting to digest *~ Starts my cold marination process.. tested a couple of flavours and settled

As to what was the result at the end.. hmm.. a wonderful 2 flavoured "Cold Dish" *no kiddin! * It's so good I won praises! . Drools~!

Saturday Night Fing~

I'm not a big fan of magazines simply for 2 reasons; it's expensive! and like all monthly reading materials....it get addictive! Any how today I got a VIP invitation *Thank You my friend!~ to NewMan Magazine 4th anniversary celebration at The Curve. With free flow of liquors and drafts, the night atmosphere is hot, sexy and fun though I arrive kinda late due to unforeseen circumstances. I saw a lot of familiar pretty faces *sorry no picture cuz was late and too dark for my handset too handle~. I truly have a good time cuz it’s been long since I attend such function, hey even got a bag of goodies~ hehe :D

The Party Picture - Click Me!

While traveling back home after the party, I stopped by Station One for supper. Mahai! This is the part where is spoils my evening~ across the table where I was sitting got a group of Fucking China Chan! They not only loud, lifting legs *typical Chinaman style. They practically spit all 360 degrees around their vicinity.. I could have sworn I saw a pool of frothy white spits with their feet's swimming in it! I didn't even finish my iced tea.. *the white froth remind me of the spits… If their parent could fork out thousands of Renminbi for their kids education, the very least they could sent these HamKaLing to ethics class. Kanina nabueh! Why are these people so fucking uncivilized??

Kam Ting Ting's Burden~

As the days are coming I felt really tired and getting restless for there nothing much more that I could do except to wait and hope good time rolls. What would you do if you woke up one day and discovered that there is no justice in the world, all that you have work hard for over the years is now gone and what’s left behind are a pile of mess framed upon you?

This week has been really busy with constants meeting with lawyers and companies. What have I actually done wrong to deserves all these? If I could reverse time, I wish I could have prevented all these from happening simply by being cold, harsh and cruel all the same time in this “Dog Eat Dog” world. At times I wish I could just leave everything behind to go wherever I want to go, to do what ever I wanted to do and not to care about others but my own self. Sadly I do not have such options for I carry a burden that was not mine to begin with….....

I took mike along to shooting range in da evening - Click Me!

My Own Set!

Earlier this year I started to play golf due to friend's influence and self-curiosity. HAHA! Why golf? Well I used to think that golf is an expensive old man game and is fucking boring as hell! But then hey guess what.. Never judged a sport by it appearance~ Go Try It! It’s bloody addictive, simply from aiming the ball, swinging the club, the force of impact and finally sending the ball up~ up~ and away~ Woooowwww~!

It's not really an expensive game *maybe later stage.. But for now 2nd hand gears and golf sets are abundant and surprisingly cheap for beginner like me. There no point buying expensive new golf set, simply beginners have yet to appreciate a good golf set that would suit themselves.

Today I’ve finally got my own golf set! *Enough of pinjam pakai my friends club, thanks a lot guys!. It’s a Japanese “Maruman Verity” stiff carbon shaft. I’m glad I got my own set now because now onwards I have no more excuse not to go training >.+!

How Safe Are Your Home?

What good are locks when the secure lock point is weak??
So much for having the best "Solex" lock... >.@!

A few days back, my aunt house got broken into! Luckily no one was home; the burglar didn’t steal anything valuables, just a little cash stashed in room, though the burglar makes an extra effort to mess up the house.
While observing the aftermath of the incident and making planning to “secure” the house better from future intrusion. An alarm system will be installed and some metal shield will be put in to better secure the “lock point?”

The Gunslinger

Benard in Action!

Today is one of the happier days I had for such a long time now. I decided to join a shooting club! Thanks to Benard for introducing to this sport, now I'm like totally hooked!

We arrived at the “Persatuan Penembak Bandar Di-Raja Klang” around 3pm. After a simple introductory of weapons and procedure, the choice of today weapon was a 6 inches barrel “Smith and Wessen Pistol Revolver .38 caliber” It can hold 6 0.38 Special ammunition.

Me under tutoring :D

The first attempt was exciting like hell! I could feel the adreline rushed to my head as I hold the gun, cock the barrel and took aim. The weight, the feel and sense of power is overwhelming when pulling the trigger! It goes BANG! The echo rings in the ear.. kinda painful *should have bring my ear plug along* The impact of the bullet particle was so powerful that it burst right through the target board and hit the steel plate at the end of sand barrier.. fuhh! Syokness!!

Before *so clean! :D

After *I Pwned my friends!!

The shooting arena was a simple 3 courts with reinforced sand bunker and cemented concrete sidewall. I even get to see a “Glock 9mm” upclose! Beside my arena was a sharpshooter lady shooting away with a “ .22 ammunition” suitable for a lady to use.*Uncle call it chicken bullet… haha~ . It's really fun! So whose in for target practise?

The Match

Lately I’m caught in a dilemma! Let’s do a case study~ “A Ping Pong” match.
In a Ping Pong match, there the Court (objective), then there is superstar of the match; the players!

I felt like I’m one of the player but without an opponent! The match is set and game is on, but where the other player? It seems that I’m the only one on the arena. I’ve got like 2 options to take.

A) Wait a little while more, but then I can’t wait forever, the hourly rental of the Court is very expensive~ Hopefully the player might turn up, it’s not everyday that a good match is available. A lot of effort is taken in consideration for a match to work; very least give a call if coming in late or never.

B) Forfeit the match! I wish I could, but it against my virtue to simply give up and withdraw. Be a real waste not to try~ afterall a match need players of equal worth. A No Show, Is a Bad Show~

Above all what I’m trying to say is at time we try so hard to preserves people dignity, image or emotion(substance of feels, believes, not real nor can be touch.) So much so, that we always fails to see the good positive side of it. Instead they would based their judgment on assumption *since there no substance and thus create a false perspective of illusionary though that hold unreasoning logic and sidetracked ill though of mind. Ultimately destroying others and one self.

But then again who are we again to dictate to others when we our self might or may be the ill minded. For now I’m the one standing in the court observing~ and waiting~

The Changing~

Monday been a wonderful day~. The day starts with picking some relatives coming over from Singapore, have a hearty breakfast of Dim Sum. The last time I saw them is bout 10+yrs ago, it good to have good healthy relationship with your relatives.

Noon was even better! Meet up with one of my future partners in biz. Signed a drafted document that seals the deal. It only matter of day before everything takes off, hopefully this round I’ve found the correct stepping stones that can propelled me to a higher level of society.

Night was a sumptuous dinner at Vee Garden; Crispy Roasted Peking Duck skin shaved serves rolled rice paper wrapper was awesome! Can’t actually remember the last time I had those. A taste to remember :D

Midnight mamak session with Wee and Mike gave a better insight of what I should do to handles my woe.. Thanks for enlighten me of what I should do now!

btw~ Ru$ty got his job at Starfucks! all hail to the new SM(sado-machoism) of Starfucks! now where's my fucking coffee? hurhurhur~

The Golden Rule

Sometimes in life when we took out our rage toward our loves one due to frustration of life, tension of works or just simply for a reason without cause. Maybe it’s because they are our beloved ones, someone close to us, a relative whom we need not be aware off, which causes us to hold no barriers nor self-preservation when holding conversations with them. At times we even verbally assaulted them without thinking twice!!.

Over times, this symptom becomes norms and more severe without us noticing it and ultimately we might or may have hurt that certain someone. So the next time when we felt like venting out on someone, think of what others might have felt if we’re in their shoes.

Do not unto others what you would not have them do unto you – Confucius

The Jazz Night!

Contrary to general belief, Jazz is NOT BORING!!! It can be very fun and funky, not to mention the soul lifting experiences in live performances. Tonight I got an opportunity to attend a fine performance by top-notch musicians and bands. The performance starts at 7pm and ends at 2am+, 7 hours of good music for a RM 85 tickets…. Definitely worth every cents and I strongly recommended it to those who likes good music.

The night kick starts with “The Funk Mob” (Malaysia). Wuhoo.. the guitarist could really grind the guitars with the tongue! Kudos to you all~

Lleuwen Steffan of the "ACOUSTIQUE" (UK-wales) are the second band to performs, she sings really well! Good rendition of " What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong" sexy!!

Aah the "SAKESHO" Carribean Jazz! loves their piano and xylophones combo! though i felt that the xylophones some what overshadowed the other musical instruments of the night. *too loud man! The pianist got one of the quickest hands I've ever seen!

"Hazmat Modine" (USA) ..hoho! These true american blues can really do wicked yodeling and serious music with a simple Harmonica and mouth phones *the like 6-7 different harmonica used during the whole perfomances *. Good acoustic slapping skills dude!

The finale and the highlight of the event~ “CUBANISMO!” (Cuba) a 14 members musician with the youngest at 22yrs old and oldest at 74yrs old!! The chairs and tables are cleared for dancing! Salsa, Mambo, Tango, Dirty Dancing~ you named it, it there!!
Rock on dude! You rawks!

Sorry for the bad vids~ my bad! You need to tilt your head <- hehe~

*I though of asking her out, but decided not too simply because the answer would be obvious....?

"When I Think Of You"

Runnings this song over and over today :D sounds familiar people?

I'm such a fan of steambot! what better ways to cook a meal over a boiling pot of pre boiled anchovies soup fills with every kinds of fishball, meatball, crabball, tofu, chili, 'spaceship' and etc etc.. It's so cheap, non greasy, fast, easy to clean and hell satisfying meal for those lazy to cook. All one need to do are 'dump' everything in a pot and wait to boil~ * Yat Wok Shok~ hehe :D

It serves well in every occasion be it a party, gathering even b'days just like today, it's my sis b'day today wur.. *preeeet!! blew horns and candles "Happy B'day!!"

The King of Pain ; Gout

This few days while rushing for ‘End of Month A/C’ I felt sick *probably lack of fluid intake * and suffered butts load of pains! When I was younger sometimes I have this excruciating pain at my ankle or knee after sports. Then there are days out of blue the pain just happened, it is so unbearable that I could not even walk at times; even the slightest touch of the morning bed sheet brings jolting pain! Now if Pain comes in flavors, I probably have tasted them all!

It took several years and over a dozen more attacks before I was diagnosis with “Gout”. Mine are hereditary since my family history got them. Gout is a rheumatic disease that is caused by too much uric acid in the blood. Over time, uric acid in the blood crystallizes and settles in the joint spaces, causing swelling and pain. Just imagine putting some sands in between an open wound and grinds them. Ouch~

Port Dickson

Today I went to Port Dickson out of curiosity to accompanying my friends who have some issues in Teluk Kemang. It must been many years since I last visit Port Dickson, lot of new housing estates and beach hotels. One particular sight that I always remember are the Ming Court Hotel, sadly the place lies in ruin and deserted now along with some unfinished construction project along the coastal road. Didn't managed to visit the beachline, though my previous memories.. the beach are somewhat dirty?

I noticed there’s a lot of “Dragon Fruit” farm *cultivation center? * along the way to Teluk Kemang and managed to bought a few fruits. 2kgs for $14 cheap? It tasted really good though.

Nature versus Nurture

It's been over a month, I kept my silence.
Facing the days thinking of you
But as time passes, it eats deeper..
When despair lies in wait.

What words to describe how much I care?
You once asked me: "Why do you like me?"
There's so many reasons and yet no reasons
For simply beauty of love comes from within.

Some might say it's too early to say these things
But what do you know how I felt then and now?
I've been trying hard to find the right words
Of what is yet to be..

Thank you.

Of Country, Religion and People

Mankind it seems, is a being of desire; attachment to earthly things and spiritual alike.Hence we need LAW to govern ourselves from our own pitiful life.

What is Law? THE LAW

What is Religion? The Religion

"Faith is a substance of believe, evidence not seen" -SiN-

Malaysia is a supposedly to be an Islamic democratic constitutional monarchy, a legacy of British colonial rule. It seems that it is not all true in many ways. Just a though of what I really think of the laws and constitution in here~

Today's article "Lina Joy" have in fact violate the basic fundamental of “Human Rights”, How is this even possible? What good is a person, a living being when he or she has no right to choose his spiritual beliefs? Is tying down a person beliefs will make any different,*Hell no! it will simply make that person turned rouge and spat on the oppressor!

Today it seems our "RUKUNNEGARA”*HAHA! WHOSE FUCKING GOD? * is sooooo fucked! :D Kudos to Lina Joy for standing up to her faith and beliefs!

Many years back I overheard one person said“You Chinese and Indian always think you're a second class citizen (which I will explain some other day), well guess what? I'm third class! Why? Because I have no freedom to even choose what I believes in!” Well today we saw what's becoming of our country. Sucks doesn't it?
