Merdeka~

Growing up in Malaysia, we’re all familiar with the word Merdeka. So what does Merdeka means? And what significant does Merdeka have over our life? Merdeka means being independence, a battle cry for those demanding independence from the colonial administrations.

So what does one do on the eve and merdeka day? One of my earliest memories of merdeka is seeing huge displays of national flags flying across shop houses and homes. I remember lining in middle of street in the middle of the night with parent watching convoy parades of decorated theme car with display of fireworks heading towards KL dataran square. There’s the early morning trip down to KL watching the marching of peoples wearing colourful uniforms.

As I grow older merdeka seems to be an overtime work getting tripple pays, night out with friends partying in clubs, a getaway holiday from home and work. This past few year… lepaking in mamak stalls ; this year.. hanging out in cybercafes playing games and countless short session of mamak….aihz.. how dull~ -.-!

Happy Merdeka Day Malaysia! May I find better thing to do next year….

Game of Speed

Today is the 2nd time I went down to Banting to meet a person that will assist me. The respond been good so far~ will see as time move passes by.

On my way back, I’ve decided to stop by Carey Island for lunch at a restaurant. Carey Island was a popular destination for seafood lovers, the restaurant situated by a river across the island wholly built on planks and stilts. Strong cool sea breeze really create the rustic authentic atmosphere! Been many years since I've here.. the views is just breathtaking~

30 yrs ago before there was dried fried crabs existed, there’s the traditional tomato/chili sauced style cooking. A truly simple dish serves with ‘mantou’ bread is truly heavenly. Even had a bittersweet durian variety for desert~ Super!!

Going down to KLIA twice in a night really screws up my sleeping schedule; but still it was worth doing the duty as an elder brother. Who knows when might be the next time I get to see them again, after all life is so unpredictable. At least if anything were to happen, I know I’ve performed my duties as a filial son and a good brother.

One be going back to middle east to work and the other back to states for further studies..
I hope they find great joy pursuing their career and goals for I’m left behind to salvages and achieves the impossible.

Suck To Be Me~ Screw AMBANK~

Today I learned something new about banking law. Seriously there’s a huge flaw in the system.

I was at AMBANK KL today to withdraw my name for a Pajero 2.8 Turbo Diesel which was purchased under company, too my surprised I could not do. During the heyday of my career I was appointed as Director and signed for the purchase of vehicle.

My question now is IF during appointment and signed for vehicle ON Company behalf, but at present resigned and no longer held interest in company; must I continue to bear liabilities of the vehicle and not the company or the new directors?

I started on the 3rd floor, then the 28th floor and finally the 2nd floor of Wisma AMBANK asking questions and finally here’s what I get for an answer. Apparently AMBANK denies all responsibilities (during signing, I clearly remembers that the officer says that I should not be worry as it’s company vehicle) and say that my issue should be within my ex company and me. So in saying.. IF the vehicles lapsed payment or what ever reasons could services the payment.. I should be held responsible.. wtf! Where the justice in the system?

When I ask if AMBANK could repossessed the vehicles or do anything to safe guard my interest; I got a stupid reply “There nothing we could do as the vehicle have excellent payment” Hell yeah! For now you dumbwit! What happen if one day the company decided not TO PAY!! Innocent person like ME would have to bear for it.. arsehole!


There’s some “Good” and “Bad” lesson to be learned from this case.. go figure~

Irony irony~

Not too long ago I mentioned that my aunt’s house got broken into; there I was then condemning the neighbour for not noticing the break in.

Well it seems today I faced the same situation. I woke late today, as I leave my house I noticed there’s a police car and few other unknown faces infront my neighbour house. It seems that his house got broken into in broad daylight before noon…. What the fuck! All this while I was soundly asleep not knowing of the incident. Now I know when thievery happens.. there’s no knowing as it is purely coincidence! I’m ashamed!

Lately zewt’s post been about names.. today I had teatime in Starbuck with 3 other people whom 2 shares the same name each including myself. Imagine this.. You bumped into us and greets “hie Mike! Mike! and Eric! Eric! …. *How cool is that??

Went for Rush Hour 3 yesterdays.. Movie plot is weak, tad too much of woman’s fetish and a classic Jackie/Chris Tucker comic antics. Not really a bad movie, but could be better. Anyway I love the ending music piece "War"

Remember not too long ago I mentioned of a friend that had an accident during work and broke his backbone. My first impression when I heard the news was.. “oh fuck~ can he still walk?”. I visited him while he’s waiting for operation in the hospital.



It seem that he fell through the rooftop while showing some Astro dude where the disc is positioned. NEVER! NEVER! CLIMB THE ROOFTOP AND STEP ON THE ROOF TILES UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND STEPPING ON!! – Get a specialist to do it for you!

8 screws and bracer down on spine, a weird steel body/back supporter and butt load of pain for souvenir!

How Bad Can It Be?

2001 Company A went bust; millions in debt.

2002 A deal went astray; 2.2 acres fraudulently transferred.

2003 Struggles for survival; life savings is emptied.

2004 A rent went bad; smoke and fire over hundred feet that can be seen miles away; severe structural damages.

2005 employed famous litigation lawyer dies in his car in front his house; police rules no foul play; cases fought halfway, eventually got thrown out.

2006 Company B falls; bad management taken over for free with huge liabilities over millions approaching bankruptcy. Pending.

2007 Forcefully evicted; withholds of machinery and good with severe settlements. Caught within 2 damaging conflicting powers.

Every steps has been painful and harsh
Is this the ends or the beginning of more to come?

Future in Trouble

It’s been really tough for the past 2 weeks. Almost everyday there’s lot of meeting, traveling, brain storming sessions and planning to do. It has come to point where all humanly possible ways are exhausted. I no longer know what is ‘correct’ or ‘wrong’; for I see there’s no ‘beauty’ on this earth. Every moment to date has been disappointing and sad.

Is there not a way out of all this misery? I’m lost, tired and feeling down. For now I can only anticipate and hope for a ‘miracle’ to happen.
