Wow.. almost 25 days of non posting. I should be better than this.. totally ashamed.
Ching Ming is just around the corner, over the years we asian especially the Chinese community will clean and pray for our long gone and dead ancestor cemetery. An event to commemorate and honor to their forefathers

Since young I find it puzzling to pray to a headstone of my grandfather and other relatives that I’ve not seen; they passed on a long time ago. It is always my wishes to track my lineage. All I know was that my grandfather came to then Malaya to escape the war. There’s a few version that I’ve heard from the elders which I’m unsure of.

Questions like ‘Who am I?’ ‘Where do we come from?’ ‘How many generation/clan members we have?’ always runs through my mind. Apparently there’s a clan book that trace my entire ancestor back to 22 generations!! *if say an average person were to get married at age of 20+ that makes it almost 400+ years*, but the book is lost over the years. A few years back I sort of asked around my relatives if they know who stills have a copy of book. No one in the families in Malaysia has it, I believes half if not all my younger generation has not seen it.

I’ve managed to trace the book through a relative in Singapore; due to health reason He wasn’t well to travel to Malaysia until last week to give me a copy. I’m overjoyed that finally that my curiosity over the years is going to be answered, but now I have a huge problem… I CAN’T BLOODY READ CHINESE!!!

I’ve heard wonderful tales when I was kid that a lot of my ancestors are scholars and some were prime ministers in the olden days. The best deciphers I gotten today is that all previous generation middle name is based on a poem.*my current generation do not practice middle name anymore* I only got the half the poem from the 13th generation onwards.. the 1st part is missing…

Having read and understand that. ~ Tonight I have overheard the wildest accusation yet. Apparently someone been keeping tab on what I wrote and accused me of corrupting images and reputation through blogs.

There 2 thing I would never do: - Manipulation and Exploitation.
Manipulating is cruel and exploitation is downright ugly.
Seems anyone can come and go from this website without comment most of the time. It makes me wonder: are we so insulated/isolated we cannot share an idea?
