What an auspicious day it is.. Chinese beliefs that in whatever things we’re doing or dealing with, it is customary to ‘buy’ good favours~ between a RM 300 summon and a RM 30 ‘tea money’.. I chooses the latter, it’s not that I encourage such practices.. but it make good common sense when it come to tight pocket.. sigh~
Today also mark my 1st attempt to ‘moonlighting’. It’s not that I deliberately do it, because priority will be there and a second alternative should come in place simply getting an opportunity doesn’t knock often.. so why not?

chinese 7 1/2 month~
The Ghost Festival : 中元节
old people used to say " Don't roam around at night, stay home! after you accidently step on dirty thing~" The earliest memories I have is probrably growing up with my aunt, planting joss stick and candle by the roadside.. tossing 'shit candy' (colourful poo shaped candy on a button biscuit) around the pavement, not sure if i'm supposed to pick those up to eat~ but i kinda remember doing so.
Anyway it the thing of the past, since my family doesn't pray but nevertheless there no harm trying to observe this ancient tradition even when one is not pious~
