The Tale Part I

Once there's this kid who have to shoulder a whole company business laid down to him, though he never requested it nor wanted any deal to do with it. With no choice given, he cut short of his degree studies, reject work promotion and quit his then F&B work that he truly enjoyed and joined the company. As the new kid on the block, he has no one to proper guide and tutored him. There's no strategy, no paperwork nor groundwork lay out; Just a company formed verbally to do as everyone sees fits.

As the company was begins to establish it self, project worth millions was awarded and fresh resources and workforce are pumped unto the company. The companies are given credit facilities from public listed holding company since a newly formed company could not get loans from banks with out any leverage. The company have has staffs of ex bank manager, MD of public listed companies, professional accountant who worked for Hilton group, Construction specialist who supposedly built KLCC, KLIA and few other famous structures, 6GR welders and group of engineers to assist the kid. The kid ancestral land was the foundation for an existing factory complete with machineries, posh offices was renovated and staff was employed. At one time the administration office have a direct views of Petronas Tower!!.

Outwardly the kid seems to be living well in the fast lane with many professional supports, handling huge project and climbs the corporate ladder at rocket pace. The truth is the kid holds no true power *A General that lead an armies belonging to the King but His *, as he could not overwrite the father, MD, Directors and The Financial Controller. Apparently almost all of the “most” crucial decisions are made and passed with the kid opinion at the bottom. Saying No and Objection was not an answer from the kid.

The first year of business went really well though the ride was a little tough with everyone trying to work with each other. Since the father never took an interest in company. Administration matters as all the duties is ‘handed’ over to others, the kid is placed as a proxy to supervised and does everything from A to Z. Though the project went smoothly and accomplished before the end of contracts, there’s lot of shady handling done at administration sector. The kid notified, pointed out and informed the father and rest of the ‘bigger hands’ but then no one was paying attention as greed sets upon them!

Since the first contracts was completed, profits are shared and capital is accumulated to further tenders a new contracts that worth 3X the first multi millions contracts. By now the company have obtained banking facilities with previous track record and heavy lobbying. Huge sum of money are spends on feeding corrupted officials, orders and invoices are forged to obtain loans, all which the kid learned latter part.

But what could the kid do? Almost everyone falls on deaf ears when false reports are submitted all who present views with an eye close! Then disaster strikes as if gods have ways to punish those evildoers, along punished the kids who fell innocently unto the trap of greed.
